PLENTY OF SUCCESS FOR BLUES ROWING AT BROCK INVITATIONAL

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues rowing team competed in their final invitational ahead of the 2024 OUA Championships, traveling to Port Dalhousie, Ont., for the Brock Invitational.

A full roster of races, the Blues were able to capture 10 total Top 5 finishes, including five podium results across both the men's and women's events.
 
Women's Results
 
The Toronto women earned a pair of bronze in the Lightweight Women's 2x (8:01.30) and Lightweight Women's 4+ (7:36.79) races at the Henley Islands. Additionally, the Blues finished fourth in the Women's 8+ (6:53.09) and fifth in the Women's 2- (8:37.94) to round out their four Top 5 results in the 10 event invitational.
 
Men's Results
 
The Toronto men picked up a silver in the Lightweight Men's 8+ (6:36.97) and two bronze in the Men's 1x (Noah Campbell - 7:35.23) and Men's 8+ (6:16.69) events this weekend. Meanwhile, U of T also added a fourth place finish in the Men's 2x, and fifth place results in the Men's 1x (Jackson Bon - 7:40.14) and Lightweight Men's 2- (7:28.15).
 
Next up for the Blues is the OUA Championships, this year hosted by Western University at the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course in Port Dalhousie from Oct. 25-26.
