The Varsity Blues men's hockey team fell 3-2 to the RMC Paladins on Saturday (Jan. 20) night in Kingston, Ont.
The Blues opened the scoring in this matchup when halfway through the period fourth-year defenseman Ryan Barbosa scored his third goal of the season. The Paladins answered back quickly with a goal of their own from Austin Saint.
RMC scored back-to-back goals from Nathan Fox and Saint in the second period to secure the victory for the Paladins. Third-year forward Billy Moskal cut into the Paladins lead towards the end of the second period.
A penalty-filled third period prevented the Blues from evening up the game, giving the Paladins a 3-2 win.
