The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 73-62 to the Windsor Lancers on Saturday (Jan, 13) evening in Windsor, Ont. 

After the first quarter, Toronto trailed the Lancers by six points (17-11), but after a strong push from the Blues in the second quarter and a 12-point half for guard Ellen Ougrinov, the blue and white led 31-28 heading into halftime. 

Heading into the third quarter, the two teams continued to go back and forth with the Blues continuing to hold the lead (51-50). After a strong quarter for the Lancers in the fourth, Windsor took the game 73-62.

Ourginov led the way for the Blues recording a game-high 20 points, along with three steals. Fellow guard Kaylee Williams finished the game with 13 points, while sitting 75 per cent from behind the arc.

Reine Ndome stood out for the Lancers, scoring a team-high 17 points and two rebounds in her 31 minutes of play.
