The Varsity Blues men's rugby team were narrowly edged out by the Blues 19-17 on Saturday (Sept. 23) afternoon in Peterborough, Ont. 
 
It was a team effort for the Blues through the 80 minutes, with Joey Ficocelli, Gianpaolo Fortino and Jackey Kuang recorded a try each. Tyler lane completed the Blues lone conversion. 
 
Austin Allen led the way for the Excalibur with two trys. William Johnston-Allan recorded Trent's one other try of the game. Darren Kusinski completed two conversions. 

Next up, the Blues return home to face-off against the Waterloo Warriors on Friday, September 29. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available here.
