The Varsity Blues men's tennis team continued their season splitting results against the Western Mustangs and Brock Badgers this past weekend.
On Saturday, Toronto narrowly fell to the reigning OUA champions Western Mustangs. 4-3 The Blues came out hot taking two of the three victories in doubles, thanks to the pairs of Rassam Yazdi and Michael Chu, and, Keving Wong and Raghav Sundararaman. In singles play, veteran Yazdi and rookie Sundararaman picked up the two victories for the Blues. First-year Charles Zheng came back from a first set loss to narrowly drop the final set in a tiebrearker 7-5.

The next day, the Blues followed up their loss to Western with a dominating win over the Brock Badgers 6-1. Toronto picked up a pair of victories in the doubles, before going on to take five of six singles matches, including a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win from Rassam Yazdi and 6-0, 6-3 win for William Xi in the six-slot.
