The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team finished their weekend series with the Lakehead Thunderwolves with a 77-72 victory at the Goldring Centre for High-Performance Sport on Saturday (Dec. 2) night.

While the Blues led throughout the first half, the Thunderwolves offence began to peek through towards the start of the third. Outscoring the Blues 19-12, the Thunderwolves took a 53-52 lead by the end of the quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Blues rallied back scoring 25 points to end the game with a 5-point lead.

The Blues were led by fourth-year forward Anthony Daudu who's double-double performance saw a game-high 21-points. In addition to his scoring effort, Daudu dominated the rim securing a career-high tying 18 rebounds. Following Daudu were guards Callum Baker and Noah Ngamba who each recorded 15 points. Rounding out the Blues double-digit scoring efforts was fifth-year Tennesse Tech transfer Dane Quest who recorded 13 points.

Leading the Thunderwolves, second-year center Harold Santacruz tallied a team-high 21 points through 28 minutes of action.
