The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 67-46 to the McMaster Marauders in their second straight match on Saturday (Nov. 11) night in Hamilton, Ont.

After the first quarter of play, the Blues trailed the Marauders by 6 points, 21-15. Veteran guard Ellen Ougrinov and Raya Hafez recorded a team-high five points in the quarter. Ougrinov finished the game with 10 points. Forwards Sabrina Nero and Thuraya Abdul Hamid also finished with 10 points. After a strong second quarter, the Blues were able to hold the Marauders lead to six points (33-27).Â

In the second half, the Marauders continued to extend their lead, including 22 points in the third half. The Blues would fall to the Marauders 67-46.
