The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team secured a riveting 2-1 win on the road against the No. 3 Université Du Québec À Trois-Rivières on Saturday (Nov. 11) night.
A fast-paced opening period unfolded as the Blues and the Patriotes battled an intense back-and-forth contest. Despite the Blues offensive efforts, the score remained 0-0 as the period ended.
Early into the second period, forward Zachary Gravel of the Patriotes scored the first goal of the game and put UQTR up 1-0. Late in the period third-year forward Billy Moskal evened the scoreboard and ignited the Blues with the momentum they needed going into the third period.
