The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's rugby team defeated the McMaster Marauders 24-10 in Hamilton on Friday (Oct. 6).

Picking up their second win of the 2023 campaign, the Blues were able to defensively shut down the home side, while powering through for four tries of their own in the road victory.

Second-year athlete Eric Vann registered two tries for U of T in the win, while Sam Marler and Vijay Kuo each tallied a single marker in the try zone. Tyler Lane added two successful converts to round out the scoring for the Blues on the night.

U of T will remain on the road next heading to Kingston to face the RMC Paladins on Saturday, Oct. 13.
