The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team drew 1-1 with the no. 5 nationally-ranked Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Thursday (Oct. 5) night at Varsity Stadium. 
 
As the rain poured down, it was Michael Maslanka who opened the scoring for the Blues, with his sixth goal of the season, just before halftime. 
 
With the 90-minute mark approaching, the Ridgebacks managed to tie up the game in the final minute from forward Omar Marzouk. 

Blues rookie goalie Maxwell Campeau finished the game with three saves.

The Varsity Blues will return to Varsity Stadium on Saturday, October 7 when they face off against the Laurentian University at 2:15 p.m. Tickets for the contest are available at varsityblues.ca/tickets, while the game will also be streamed live and on-demand via oua.tv.
