BLUES PREPARE FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS AGAINST MCGILL

In preparation for the 2023 OUA championships, the Varsity Blues tennis team faced off against McGill University on Sunday (Oct. 1) at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.

The women's team beat the Redbirds 4-3. What proved to be vital for their victory, the Blues took two of three doubles matches, thanks to wins from the pairs of Anastasiya Dyadencko and Maria Popova, and Felina Yang and Jana Al-Khatib. After singles victories from Yang and Al-Khatib, it was rookie Linda Lee who sealed the victory for the Blues winning in the six-slot for Toronto.
