It was a meeting of OUA champions Sunday afternoon when they Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's tennis teams played host to the Western Mustangs.

In what featured the two-time defending OUA women's champions in the Varsity Blues, and the three-time defending men's champions in the Mustangs, it was ultimately the visitor's getter the better of the Blues in both men's and women's play.

In women's play, the Blues got off to a strong start winning two of the three doubles matches. However, Western was able to respond and take five of the six singles matches to win 5-2.

The Blues men's team picked up a win in one of the three doubles matches against Western. Then in singles play, Toronto was held to just a single match victory, as the Mustangs went on to win 6-1.

The Varsity Blues will now turn their attention to McGill, who they will host on October 2^nd, in their final match before the OUA championships.
