The Varsity Blues men's soccer team draw 0-0 against the Carleton Ravens in Ottawa, Ont. on Sunday (Sept. 11) afternoon.
With the draw, the Blues start their 2022 campaign with a 1-1-0 record.
Defence was a focal point for both teams this afternoon. In his first start of the season, Blues goalie Ben Grondin kept a clean sheet. The Blues have yet to concede a goal this season. Grondin made multiple crucial saves through the 90 minutes to keep the clean sheet.
The Varsity Blues will play their home opener on Saturday, September 17 at Varsity Stadium against the Trent Excalibur. Kick off is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
