The Varsity Blues men's and women's tennis teams took care of the visiting McMaster Marauders Saturday afternoon at the UTSC tennis courts in Scarborough, Ont.

On the women's side, rookie Veronica Podobed led the reigning OUA champions to a 7-0 victory.

Podobed, who played as the top-seed for Toronto is both singles and doubles, won both her matches.

For the men, it was another rookie leading Toronto to victory. Winning both of his singles matches, Arden Daniello served as a main reason to why the Blues were able to defeat the Marauders 7-0.

Both teams will return to action on September 11 when they host Ottawa.
