The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell to the Ferris State Bulldogs 100-82 in their first exhibition game of the 2022-23 season.
TORONTO STATS:
After a back-and-forth first, the Blues trailed the Bulldogs 25-23. Through the second, Ferris State would extend their lead (51-41). The Bulldogs would continue to lead after the third 74-63, ultimately holding on to best the Blues 100-82.
The Blues were led by fourth-year guard Callum Baker, who totalled 28-points, three assists and two rebounds.
Fourth-year forward Somachi Agbapu put up 16-points and seven rebounds, shooting 8-10 from the field. Second-year guard Aleer Aleer-Leek and second-year forward Lennart Weber both recorded nine points.
Second-year forward David Ramirez had a team high four assists.
UP NEXT: The Blues take on the Brock Badgers in their home opener on Friday, November 5. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
