Box Score The Varsity Blues men's basketball team beat the Bishop's Gaiters 82-63 in an exhibition game on Friday (Sept. 30) night. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: After a back and forth first quarter, the Blues came out with an eight-point lead (23-15). The Gaiters came out strong in the second quarter, and went into halftime with a 33-32 lead. The Gaiters continued to hold the lead after a tight third quarter (52-49). The Blues came out flying in the fourth quarter to take the game 82-63.
 
The Blues were led by third-year guard Callum Baker, who recorded 33 points and five rebounds, while shooting 50% from three.
 
Forward Somachi Agbapu had a double-double, putting up 12 points and, a team high, 16 rebounds. Third-year guard Iñaki Alvarez also put up 12 points, and a team high 5 assists.
