BLUES FALL TO NO. 6 RAVENS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 78-57 to the No. 6 Carleton Ravens in the first game of their back-to-back series on Friday February, 25 in Ottawa.
 
TORONTO STATS:
 
The Blues ended the first quarter down 28-13. The Ravens held this lead through the second quarter ending the half up 53-29. Through the third and fourth-quarter the Ravens pulled away leaving the Blues with a final score of 98-55.
 
For the third-straight game third-year guard Ellen Ougrinov lead the Blues, with 15-points, four assist and one rebound.
 
First-year forward Jada Poon-Tip recorded double-digit points for the sixth time this season with 12-points. Poon-Tip also tallied three rebound in the loss.
 
Fourth-year forward Jessica Muha was the Blues presence on the boards leading the team with eight rebounds and recording 10-points in the process.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues and Ravens are set for a rematch tomorrow Saturday, February 26 in Ottawa. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
