The No. 3 Varsity Blues came back from one set down to defeat the Rams (20-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-15) on Saturday, February 19.

TORONTO STATS: Three Blues hitters were in double-figures in kills in the four-set victory. Middle Jenna Woock and outside hitter Julia Murmann both finished with 15 points as Woock notched 12 kills and three aces while Murmann had 15 kills.

First-year outside hitter Asya Dogruer earned 12 points off of a career-high 11 kills and one service ace, while fellow rookie Anna Maria Gadomski also had a career-high, finishing with 10 points off of six kills, two services aces and two blocks.

Libero Sophia Currier led all players with 13 digs, with Murmann not far behind with 12. Veteran setter Hayley Goodwin dished out 53 assists in the sweep.

UP NEXT: The Blues play another Toronto rival as they travel to York University to take on the York Lions on Wednesday, February 23. First serve is at 5:30 p.m.
