The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team defeated the Rams 82-76 at home on Saturday, February 19 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport in the second game of their home-and-home series.
TORONTO STATS: The Blues took the lead early in the first, finishing the quarter up 23-15 and continuing their lead into second. By the half, the Blues were up 42-30. Continuing their dominance through the third and fourth quarters, the Blues ended the game up 82-76 over the Rams.
The Blues were lead by second-year guard Inaki Alvarez. Alvarez went 3-4 from behind the arc and 4-6 from field goal range, finishing the win with a season-high 20-points, five assists and one block.
Second-year standout Anthony Daudu put up a career-high performance with 17-points, five rebounds, three blocks and two steals respectively, while first-year guard Aleer Aleer-Leek tallied 11-points.
Third-year forward Jeremy Aibi lead the Blues with 9 rebounds in the win.
