The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell to the No. 1 Carleton Ravens 75-70 in the first game of their back-to-back series on Friday February, 25 in Ottawa.
TORONTO STATS:
At the end of first, the Blues trailed the Ravens 15-9. Battling back to shrink the Ravens lead to 32-30 at the half, the Blues would lead Carleton 54-53 by the end of third. The Ravens came back in the fourth to down the Blues 75-70.
Toronto was lead by third-year guard Steven Rwahwire. Rwahwire tied a season-high 14-points while recording two rebounds and an assist.
First-year guard Kalyem Liburd-Mullings tallied 13-points and two boards, while third-year wing Eli Mouyal recorded six points, five rebounds, two assist and a steal in just 16-minutes.
Third-year wing Jeremy Aibi had 5 rebounds in the win.
UP NEXT: The Blues and Ravens are set for a rematch tomorrow Saturday, February 26 in Ottawa. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
