The No. 3 Varsity Blues continued their winning ways, dispatching cross-town rivals the Rams in three sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-15) on Friday, February 18. Â
TORONTO STATS: The Blues had a balanced attack on Friday. Outside hitters Hope Kotun and Julia Murmann had eight kills each, while veteran middle Jenna Woock finished with ten points off of seven kills and three solo blocks. Murmann would also finish with ten points, adding service aces on the evening.Â
Rookie Asya Dogruer finished with nine points off of six kills, two aces and one block.
Murmann had a game-high 12 digs, while libero Sophia Currier was not far behind with eight. Third-year setter Hayley Goodwin had 27 assists in the sweep.
UP NEXT:Â The Blues finish their home-and-home series with the Rams tomorrow (Saturday, February 19) as they travel to the Mattamay Athletic Centre. First serve is at 6:00 p.m.
