The No. 2 Varsity Blues continued their strong start to the season by defeating the Queen's Gaels in four sets (25-17, 24-26, 25-20, 25-22) on Sunday, February 13.
TORONTO STATS: Outside hitters Julia Murmann and Hope Kotun led the way for the Blues, finishing with 16 and 15 kills, respectively. Murmann added one ace to finish with 17 points, while Kotun added three aces to finish with a team-high 18 points.
Fourth-year middle Jenna Woock had nine kills on 12 attempts with no errors for a .750 hitting percentage.
Fifth-year libero Sophia Currier provided strong defence for the Blues, earning a game-high 13 digs. Veteran setter Hayley Goodwin dished out 32 assists.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back at home on Friday, February 18 as they take on the Rams at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. First serve is at 6:00 p.m.
