The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 64-60 in the second game of their back-to-back series against the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday February, 12 at Goldring Centre.
TORONTO STATS:
The Blues got off to a slow start down 18-10 by the end of the first. Although the Blues found some momentum at the start of the second, the Lakers pulled away leaving the Blues down 40-24 at the half. Through the third and fourth-quarter the Blues found a switch in momentum, catching up to the Lakers, but fell just short at 64-60.

For the second-straight game, second-year guard Lauren Boers lead the Blues tallying 16-points, two assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Third-year guard Ellen Ougrinov was also amongst the Blues top performers ending the game with 13-points, five boards and two assists.
Fourth-year forward Jessica Muha dominance on the boards continued from the previous night, leading the Blues with eight rebounds. Fellow forward, second-year Thuraya Abdul Hamid had seven points, two rebounds and two steals in the win.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back at home next weekend Saturday, February 19 vs. the Rams at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
