Looking to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season against Western last weekend, the Varsity Blues men's and women's tennis teams did exactly that on Sunday against McGill.

In a tight match, the men's team went on to win 4-3, while the women's team picked up a 6-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The doubles teams of Arden D'Aniello and Zack Willson, and Michael Chu and Kevin Wong both won their respective matches 8-3, earning the Blues the crucial extra point. Splitting the six singles matches, Willson, Nathan Li and William Xi won their matches for Toronto in straight sets.

Helping the women's team roll to a 6-1 win, the Blues had three different athletes win two matches on Sunday. Pia Jhattu, Mia Wong and Andrea Kuntjoro all won their doubles match before going on to win again in singles play. Tianna Xie and Carmen Nahat also recorded victories in singles.
