The Varsity Blues men's basketball team beat MacEwan University 91-52 in an exhibition game in Vancouver, B.C.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: After the first quarter, the Blues led the game 27-12. The Blues extended their lead heading into halftime (49-24). They held their lead after three quarters (67-39). The Blues would close out the game in the fourth quarter to win the game 91-52. 
 
Guard Iñaki Alvarez led the way for the Blues with 25 points, four assists and three rebounds. 
 
Forward Somachi Agbapu recorded a double-double putting up 16 points and 13 rebounds, along with four assists. First-year forward completed the game with 17 points and four rebounds. 
 
UP NEXT: The Blues take on the University of Alberta in an exhibition game on Saturday, October 21 at Goldring Centre.
