The Varsity Blues men's soccer team beat the Queen's Gaels 3-0 on Saturday (Oct. 1) afternoon at Varsity Stadium.
 
The Blues now hold a 3-1-3 record in their 2022 OUA campaign. They currently sit fourth in the OUA East division with 12 points. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: After a scoreless first half, the Blues opened the scoring 15 minutes into the second half, with a goal from defender Eugene Chiapetta (60'). Second-year forward Kingsley Belele doubled the Blues lead in the 77^thminute. To finish off the scoring for the Blues, Shon Siegelwachs scored his second goal of the season in the 90^th minute.
 
Goalkeeper Ben Grondin came up big for the Blues, making 11 saves through the 90 minutes. 
 
UP NEXT: The Blues return to action on Sunday, October 2 against the RMC Paladins at Varsity Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
