The Varsity Blues men's lacrosse team fell to the Brock Badgers 12-4 on Saturday (Oct. 1) night at Varsity Stadium.
 
With the loss, the Blues currently sit with a 2-3 record in the 2022 CUFLA season. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blues opened the scoring in the first quarter with two goals from Aidan Guld in the fourth and 12^th minute. Aidan Buis scored for the Badgers with 20 seconds left in the first quarter. The Badgers scored three straight goals in the second quarter, with goals coming from Mitch Zullian, Jaden Patterson and Andrew Rybka. 
 
Brock added five goals in the third quarter, with Buis and Rybka adding their second of the game, and Blair Pachereva, Mitchell Armstrong and Hunter Ostromecki scored their first. Alex Acosta scored the Blues lone goal in the third quarter. 
 
Rybaka would complete his hat-trick for the Badgers in the fourth quarter, along with Zullian addin his second of the game. Noah Simonelli also got on the board for the Badgers. Sam Gaskin added the lone goal for the Blues in the fourth. 
 
UP NEXT: The Blues next play on Sunday, October 2 when they face off against the McMaster Marauders at Varsity Stadium.
