The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell to the Ottawa Gee-Gees 78-43 in the second game of their two game series on Saturday November, 27 at Goldring Centre.

After a strong first quarter, it was the Gee-Gees who pulled away with the win against the Blues Saturday afternoon.
Third-year guard Ellen Ougrinov continued her impressive form, leading the Blues with 17-points, three boards and three steals in the loss.
First-year guard Carly Magarelli tallied eight points, four rebounds, and one steal, while second-year guard Nicole Chateau led the team in assists. Chateau would end the day with four points, three assists and three rebounds.
First-year forward Teah Best came off the bench for four points and one rebound..
UP NEXT: The Blues are back it Saturday, January 8 vs. the Queen's Gaels in Kingston. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
