The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped an 89-49 decision to the Guelph Gryphons in pre-season action on Saturday, October 23 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
TORONTO STATS: Third-year guard Ellen Ougrinov led the Blues with 18 points, while adding four rebounds and three assists on the day. Fellow veteran guard Christine Jurcau chipped in with six points, two steals and one assist.
 
Rookie forwards Sabrina Nero and Alex Jaglall each added five boards and six boards in the loss.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action tomorrow as they host the McMaster Marauders in exhibition play at Goldring Centre. Tip off is set for 1 p.m.
