The University of Toronto women's hockey team edged out the Rams 2-1 in exhibition play at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Friday, October 22.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â NCAA transfer Céline Frappier started the scoring for the Blues in the first period.
Third-year forward Taylor Trussler added a goal in the second period to give the Blues a 2-0 lead.
In the third, Rams forward Erika Crouse scored a short-handed goal to narrow the lead to one.
The Blues were able to hang on to the victory off of the efforts of senior goalie Madeline Albert who had 24 saves for the win.
UP NEXT:Â The Blues take on the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday, October 23 at Varsity Arena for their third exhibition contest. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.
