BLUES FALL TO PANDAS IN NATIONAL SEMIFINAL

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to the Alberta Pandas in semifinal action at the 2020 Canadian university tennis championships on Friday, October 1 at Aviva Centre.
 
Highlights of the day included singles and doubles wins for two Blues veterans, Pia Jhattu and Andrea Kuntjoro. The duo teamed up to win a close 8-7 doubles match in the tiebreaker.
 
Jhattu then went on to win her No. 3 singles match 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, while Kuntjoro took the No. 4 match 8-4 in a shortened eight-game pro set.
