The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 25-13) on Sunday, February 9 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
With the win, the Blues improve to 14-2 and remain in second place in the OUA East, two points behind the Ryerson Rams with a game in hand.
TORONTO STATS: Fifth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 13 points off of nine kills and a game-high four aces.
Veteran left Caleigh Cruickshank had eight points, all from kills, and led all players with nine digs. Both Anna Licht and Elizabeth Bilawey totaled seven points on the day.
Hayley Goodwin and Lidya Canturk split setting duties, tallying 15 and 24 assists, respectively.
UP NEXT: The Blues head to North Bay, Ont., to take on the Nipissing Lakers next Saturday, February 15.
