The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Nipissing Lakers 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-15) on Saturday, February 15 at the RJS Athletic Centre in North Bay.

With the win, the Blues improve to 15-2 and remain in second place in the OUA East, behind the Ryerson Rams with a game in hand.
 
TORONTO STATS: Fifth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 15 points off of a game-high 12 kills and a two aces.
 
Veteran left Caleigh Cruickshank had eight and a half points, from six kills and two aces, and led the blues with eight digs.
 
Hayley Goodwin and Lidya Canturk continued to split setting duties, tallying 32 and 10 assists, respectively.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues head to Waterloo, Ont., to take on the Waterloo Warriors next Friday, February 21.
