Alina Dormann notched her 1200th regular season career kill as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-21) victory over the Waterloo Warriors in their final away game of the regular season on Friday evening (Feb. 21).
Toronto's sixth straight win improved their overall record to 16-2 and moves them into a tie for first place with the Ryerson Rams with one regular season game remaining.Â

TORONTO STATS:Â Dormann led all players with a game-high 16 kills. Power hitter Hope Kotun was the only other player in double digit kills, scoring 11 over the course of the game.

Anna Licht and Jenna Woock were once again forces to be reckoned in the middle position, recording nine and seven kills, respectively.

Licht was not only an offensive prowess during the game, as she led the team in blocks with four.

On defence, Caleigh Cruickshank registered a team-high 12 digs to keep the Warriors offence at bay.

Setter Hayley Goodwin, who played majority of the game, tallied a game-high 46 assists to catalyze the Blues offence.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back at home for their final game of the regular season as they host the York Lions on Sunday, February 23. Opening serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
