In their final away game of the season, the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball fell to a 87-69 defeat to the Guelph Gryphons on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 9).
TORONTO STATS: Fourth-year veteran Sarah Bennett recorded a season-high 23 points to lead the Blues in scoring. Ellen Ougrinov matched her season-high of 21 points, 15 of which came from three-point range.
Along with Bennett and Ougrinov, Nada Radonjic was the only other Blues player to score double digit points, tallying 13. Radonjic also registered 10 rebounds, notching her fourth double-double of the season.
Third-year guard Samantha Robertson was the team's assists leader with a season-high six.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back at home next week for their penultimate game of the season, as they host the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday, February 14. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
