The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team recorded a memorable 60-57 victory over the visiting Laurentian Voyageurs in their penultimate home game of the season on Friday evening (Feb. 14).
 
TORONTO STATS: Nada Radonjic, who scored the game winning shot with less than 30 seconds left in the game, recorded a career-high 27 points to propel the Blues to victory. 18 of her 27 points came from three-point range.
 
Coupled with her points, Radonjic recorded 14 rebounds to lead the team in that category, as well as register her fifth double-double of the season.
 
Sarah Bennett also had a big game in terms of rebounds, recording 13 over the course of the game.
 
Guards Samantha Robertson and Christine Jurcau were the team's assists leaders with three each.
 
Three Blues players co-led steals with the Ekwandja sisters and Sarah Cumby each tallying three.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues host the Nipissing Lakers in their final game of the 2019-20 season this Saturday, February 15. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
