The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team defeated the Algoma Thunderbirds 101-80 on Friday evening (Feb. 7) at Algoma University's George Leach Centre.
 
TORONTO STATS: On a night where all members of the Blues starting five recorded double-digit points, both fifth-year guard Chris Barrett and fourth-year guard Eric Rwahwire stood out recording out 22 points and 5 assists each.

Third-year guard Evan Shadkami notched his 17^th double-digit point game of the season recording 17 points. Shadkami also led the Blues with four steals and added four assists.

Second-year forward Somachi Agbapu made his presence known, recording single digits in every statistical category highlighted by a game-high nine rebounds. Agbapu also found the net seven times for 12 points.

Fifth-year forward Daniel Johansson had 14 points and seven rebounds in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Guelph this Sunday, February 9^th to take on the Guelph Gryphons. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m.
