The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell to a 69-50 defeat to the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Friday evening (Jan. 31) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
TORONTO STATS: Nada Radonjic recorded double figures in points for the 10^th time this season, leading the team with 17 on the night. Coupled with her 10 rebounds, Radonjic notched her third double-double of the season.
 
Sarah Bennett was Toronto's next best rebounder, tallying nine over the course of the game.
 
The Ekwandja sisters combined for 17 points, with Mikhaela scoring nine and Nakeisha scoring eight. Nakeisha co-led the team in assists with Ellen Ougrinov, as the duo both registered two during the game.
 
Mikhaela also co-led a category, recording two steals alongside Radonjic.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action against the Thunderwolves this Saturday, February 1. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
