The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell to the Lakehead Thunderwolves 62-49 this past Saturday (Feb 1) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

Fourth-year forward Nada Radonjic co-led the Blues in nearly every scoring category recording 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while fellow fourth-year forward Sarah Bennett featured a nearly identical stat line of 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Bennett also led the Blues in steals with two.
 
First-year guard Jasmine Lambert notched the Blues third highest point total with a career-high 10 points. 
 
Both first-year forward Nakeisha Ekwandja and third-year guard Christine Jurcau had four points and five rebounds in the loss.
