The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell to the No. 5 Ryerson Rams 84-53 this past Saturday (Jan. 18) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

TORONTO STATS: First-year forward Mikhaela Ekwandja led the Blues from the bench with a career-high 12 points, and added three rebounds.
Fourth-year forward Sarah Bennett ended the night with a double-double tallying 10 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
Second-year University of Victoria transfer Ellen Ougrinov found the basket five times for nine points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. Fellow second-year guard Jasmine Lambert recorded a career-high seven points and added three rebounds and two assists.
Fourth-year forward Nada Radonjic also held seven points but added nine rebounds and an assist.
First-year forward Nakeisha Ekwandja finished the night with three points, four rebounds, an assists and a steal.
First-year guard Sara Cumby and third-year guard Kirsten Macleod both had two points off the bench, while Kishana Smith went one-for-two on free throws to end the night with a single point.
