The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell to the No. 5 Carleton Ravens 72-54 this past Friday (Jan. 24) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
TORONTO STATS: Second-year guard Ellen Ougrinov led the Blues with a game-high 21 points, and added two rebounds and two assists.

Fourth-year forward Sarah Bennett's strong defensive performance was highlighted by nine points, four rebounds and two steals. Fellow fourth-year forward Nada Radonjic slowed from her current run of form recording just eight points, five rebounds and an assist.

First-year forward Mikhaela Ekwandja put up five points and a game-high seven rebounds while her sister, Nakeisha had three points, four rebounds and two steals.

First-year guards Jasmine Lambert and Sara Cumby both ended the night with two points each.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back at home tomorrow Saturday, January 25 as they take on the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
