The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with the Ryerson Rams on Saturday, September 28 at Downsview Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year defender Anna Crone opened the scoring late in the 41st minute, notching her first goal of the season. The Rams responded three minutes later though, as Brooke Pearson scored on a penalty kick. The two teams were tied 1-1 at the half.

Levanta Staggolis made 12 saves in the draw.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Saturday, October 5 as they travel to Sudbury, Ont., to take on the Laurentian Voyageurs. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
