The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team blanked the Laurentian Voyageurs 2-0 on Saturday afternoon (Oct 5) at Laurentian University.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The first half would see a combined eleven shots with Blues third-year midfielder Miranda Badovinac combing with Anna Crone to open the scoring (39').
The second half began with a heavy press from the Voyageurs as Blues fourth-year goalkeeper Levana Staggolis would face five shots on goal, saving all of them. In the 56^th minute, fifth-year transfer Jenny Wolever extended the Blues lead to two.

Toronto fourth-year goalkeeper Levana Staggolis  made seven saves in the contest.
