Veteran and co-captain Samar Qaedizadeh led the Varsity Blues women's tennis team to a 7-0 victory over the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, September 21.
 
Qaedizadeh teamed up with rookie Pia Jhattu to take the No. 1 doubles match, 8-3.
 
She then came from behind in the No. 1 singles match to win 3-6, 7-6, 10-5.
 
Other winners in doubles were Andrea Kuntjoro and Samantha Fraser at the No. 2 spot and rookies Tiana Xie  and Niki Karol at the No. 3 spot.
 
In singles, wins were recorded by all the U of T players from No. 2-6: Andrea Kuntjoro, Salma Dessouki, Tiana Xie, Alex Boone and Niki Karol.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to London, Ont., to take on the Western Mustangs on Sunday, September 22.
