The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team narrowly fell, 4-3, to Western on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 22) in London, Ont.
 
Mara Stroe  and Samar Qaedizadeh started out with a lone but strong doubles win at the No. 1 spot, 8-3.
 
Moving into the next round of singles play, Qaedizadeh completed the double win with a strong victory in the No. 2 singles match.
 
Other winners in singles were Andrea Kuntjaro and Milena Music.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to York next Saturday, September 28 and take on their cross-town rivals.
