Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

NO. 7 BLUES TIE NO. 5 RAMS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team tied the Ryerson Rams in a scoreless affair on Sunday afternoon (Sept 22) at Varsity Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blues and Rams opened up the match by exchanging quality scoring chances that tested the goalkeepers. Jacob Doroszkiewicz had a beautiful scoring opportunity but was stopped by Ryerson keeper Ali Ghazanfari in the 15th minute.

Both teams continued battling hard despite the hot weather conditions, but could not get anything in the back of the net.

Toronto second-year goalkeeper Sebastian Sgarbossa made four saves in the draw.

UP NEXT: The Blues start their first of four consecutive road games next Saturday (Sept 28) when they retest the Ryerson Rams.
