BLUES FALL TO MARTLETS IN OLD-FOUR BATTLE

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's hockey team fell 5-1 to the McGill Martlets on Saturday, September 21 in London, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Martlets got on the board 3:35 into the game but rookie forward Lauren MacDonnell evened it up with a goal assisted by Jessica Robichaud and Shaelynn Waite.

McGill would score three unanswered goals in the second frame to put the game out of reach and rounded out the scoring with a goal with less than three minutes remaining in the game.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Sunday, September 29 as they travel to take on the York Lions in pre-season play.
