The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team continued their winning ways with a 4-0 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday morning (Sept. 15) in Kingston, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 4-0 and sit atop the OUA standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year veteran Emily Ziraldo continued her offensive output, scoring the game's first two goals in the first and fourth minutes, respectively. Rookie Madeline Sherwood notched her second goal of the season in the 18th minute to put the Blues up 3-0 at halftime. Anna Costanzo rounded out the scoring with a goal in the 35th minute.

Blues netminder Elizabeth O'Hara played three quarters, while Ashley Kowal played one in the shut out victory.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Saturday, September 21 as they travel to London, Ont., to take on the Guelph Gryphons. Game time is set for 10:45 a.m.
