The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team defeated the Brock Badgers 7-0 in the first regular season match on Saturday, September 10 at the UTSC tennis courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Ottawa native and rookie Rassam Yazdi led the Blues with a solid win in the No. 1 singles spot and then teamed up with veteran Sasha Obucino to win the No. 1 doubles match.

In singles play, wins were recorded by veterans Alec Luchak, Eric Cherniy and Daniel Hill as well as rookies Michael Chu, Daniel Foxcroft.
 
In doubles wins were recorded by Luchak, Cherniy, Chu and Foxcroft.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Waterloo to take on the warriors on Sunday, September 14 at noon.
