The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team took down the Nipissing Lakers 64-56 on Saturday (Feb. 9) night in North Bay, Ont.

The Blues remain in the playoff hunt with the victory. They are only one game back of Laurentian for the final playoff spot with two games remaining.

TORONTO STATS: Fourth-year guard Keyira Parkes registered a game-high 22 points and four rebounds. Fourth-year forward Charlotte Collyer put up five points, a game-high 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Third-year guard Mahal De La Durantaye added seven points, three rebounds and two assists in the victory.

UP NEXT: The Blues host the Queen's Gaels on Friday (Feb. 15) night at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
